      Psychological Thrillers

A thriller is a film that is made to keep the audience in suspense, sensational action and also it keeps the audience on the edge. Thriller is a large genre because it overlaps with other     genres for example Inception is action, adventure, mystery and a  thriller. A thriller can not be on its own it has to be combined with other genres.Thrillers have their own characteristics such as plot twists, not knowing what's going to happen. The main purpose of thrillers is to with the audiences brain, they put the audience on the edge at times because of the suspense. The audience have to go back to the start to rethink the plot so that they know what's happening. In a film such as 'Exam', the  characters had to figure out the question to answer the question, this made the audience try to figure out the question for themselves however they couldn't until the end of the film. Some thrillers are very complex to understand, if you miss part of the film you may not understand the whole plot of the film, some thrillers are made for a wider audience that isn't as complex.

I will watch more thrillers to get used to their characteristics and features this will give me more knowledge about thrillers.
